SQA Analyst - overland park, KS

The SQA analyst will work closely with the project team to prepare and execute test plans and test cases/scripts, track test data, identify expected results and log/facilitate bug resolutions.


II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES –

1. Execute and validate medium to complex projects performed through independent validation and verification of various IT systems.
2. Understanding and ability to support project delivery of Waterfall and Agile projects.
3. General comprehension of the software testing process and methodology from Unit Testing through User Acceptance to include: Functional/Manual, System and Integration, Regression, Automation, Load and Performance and Stress testing.
4. Review requirement specification documents to gain a functional understanding of the application(s Participate in requirements meetings as well as Agile grooming sessions to verify the testability of requirements and user stories.
5. Identify, document, and communicate all issues discovered during test case creation and test execution following documented issues reporting procedures and processes.

III. REQUIREMENTS –

1. Bachelor’s Degree in computer information systems or related area.
2. Minimum 4 years software testing experience.
3. 3-5 years’ experience using Microsoft Team Foundation Server (TFS Proficient in creating test plans and scenarios supporting an Agile methodology performing both manual and automated testing.
a. Administer and support TFS.
b. Customize TFS to meet project needs.
c. Assist and provide direction to team members.
4. Understanding/familiarity with various operating systems, scripting languages, applications such as CRM, Windows and Mobile testing.
5. Excellent communication skills.
6. Ability to manage multiple projects.
