SOFTWARE DEFINED NETWORKS AND NETWORK FUNCTION VIRTUALIZATION
(Position will be based out of the Customer office in Frisco, Tx)
Job Descriptions:
Position will primarily be a SME (Subject Matter Expert) for SDN/NFV technical architecture and engineering.
The person will be responsible for solution architect and engineering of SDN/NFV-based solution in at least one of the following areas:

" 5G RAN
" vRAN
" vCPE
" vAccess/SD-WAN
" vEPC/vIMS
" vWAN/multi-domain SDN
" Orchestrator/MANO
" vDC
" ODL/ONAP/ONOS/Open Flow
" ETSI/ASDC/ECOMP
" Netconf/YANG/TOSCA

This position requires in-depth knowledge of SDN/NFV technologies and hands on knowledge of at least one of the implementation at a tier 1 global carrier (e.g. AT&T, Verizon), an integrated solution provider (e.g. HPE, Netcracker), or an equipment vendor (e.g. CISCO, Huawei, Ericson
Job Responsibilities:
" Lead vendor solution requirement generation, evaluation, selection, and integration activities
" Lead a Dev-Ops team to perform Open Source code identification, evaluation, selection, and integration activities
" Participate in standard organization (e.g. IETF, 3GPP) discussions that have impacts on the selected solutions
" Participate and lead Open Source community that have impacts on the selected Open Source solutions
" Participate in the daily Dev-Ops team activities, and be the technical leader of the team on the solutions.
Job Requirement:
Subject Matter Expert on SDN/NFV technologies and solutions
" Hands-on implementation experiences on the technology and solution
" Strong analytical and problem solving skills
" US Tier 1 operator experience is a plus
" Good Knowledge of multiple network domains including wireless, wireline, and data center architectures with expert knowledge and hands on experience in at least one of the Domains.
" Experience in authoring, reviewing and responding to RFI, RFP and RFQ from Vendors and Customers.
" Good Knowledge and Experience with Open Source and Dev-Ops.
" Good Knowledge and Experience with standard organizations such as IETF and 3GPP
" Experience with Agile Development methodologies and development lifecycle
" Ability to work in a high-pressure dynamic environment and adjust to priority changes
" Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
