XML structures and functions
Web Services structures and functions
Knowledge of SOAP and REST technologies
Critical thinking and analytical skills
Data driven testing
Writing SQL queries
Must Haves:
Tester/Developer role
Services experience in Studio Visual Basic.Net and/or SOATEST
Experience in testing Integrations
Experience in validating XMLs
Able to independently write and execute test cases
Experience in defect management process
Pluses:
Claim Center experience (FNOL, incidents, coverage, setting exposures/reserves/activities)
Insurance knowledge/experience (understanding the right loss to set up can be critical for results)
Knowledge of Automation
ALM Tool (understanding test case structure, writing test cases, execution of test cases, defect writing/validations)
