As the PES SOA Architect, your role on the team will be to influence, drive and deliver technical integration architecture design aligned with our organizational SOA strategy.
The SOA Architect will collaborate with the Enterprise and Product Engine Solutions Architecture team, project teams, integration analysts, and developers to provide a robust platform, policies, and patterns to transform PES to Service Orientation.
As a member of the Product Engine Solutions - Product Connect capability team, this role will participate in the architecture, design and development of product data integration solutions for the client
The role includes the development of partnerships and connections with IT development team members to clarify specifications and ensure that service solutions align with long-term transformation strategies between PES.

Skills:
Bachelor''s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field. Additional 5 years'' experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5 or more years of experience with middleware technologies & Integration Platforms (ROA/SOA/EAI/ESB/BPM) with a primary focus on design, architecture & development for large scale & complex enterprise grade solutions.
4 or more years of demonstrated experience with providing architecture, design and maintenance support for enterprise-scale SOA and other integration implementations.
Must have a working knowledge ROA/SOA/EAI/ESB/BPM concepts, Event Driven Architecture, J2EE design patterns, frameworks and enterprise integration patterns.
Strong experience with Messaging (JMS, MQ, AQ, etc and Message Oriented Middleware
Proficiency with JSON/XML/XSL/XSLT/XSD, JAXDB, SOAP, WSDL, AXIS2, HTTP, REST, and API development
Ability to translate business requirements into technical requirements and solutions by planning, developing, and refining to-be architecture.
Experience with designing and building RESTful services.
Experience with designing ESB mediations.
Experience working with service registries and repositories.
Experience working with BPEL and rules engines.
Experience with Java and J2EE multi-tiered/layered application architecture.
Experience collaborating with internal or external team members throughout the organization.
Experience with the indirect management of team members, including mentoring, development, training, and assignment of work/projects to other members of a team.
Proven ability to communicate Service Orientation concepts to a wide variety of non-technical team members, and influence and affect change from the status quo to align with integration strategy.
Experience interfacing with and presenting to business leaders.
