Requirements
Experience of 5 to 10 years working (of which 5 years must be as L2/L3 working with SMTP email gateways and related infrastructure running on Linux/Unix platform

Essential Technical Skills:
ITIL incident and Problem management
Proven experience with SMTP protocol and Java.
Expert knowledge on Signing and Encryption using SMIME and PGP
Expert knowledge on open source and commercial implementations of Sendmail
Sentrion appliances and Mail Stream Manager policy engine
Proofpoint anti-spam appliances
Working knowledge of Knowledge base tools
Creation and maintenance of Knowledge based articles

Responsibilities

Management and operation of SMTP Backbone Infrastructure which includes
SMTP Internet gateways
Email Gateway anti-spam and anti-virus products
Email distribution list manager
Cyrus based IMAP service
SMIME email encryption gateways
Chat servers used for multiparty chat from Vendors
Mobile device messaging (e.g. Blackberry, Good, IOS

Working with internal and external entities:
Working with vendors and service providers to resolve software/hardware problems on SMTP Backbone Infrastructure
Working with external organization to resolve problems with sending receiving secure emails
Working with group IT Security, Internal Audit, Compliance and Governance teams
Handling Problem Tickets and covering Changes

Drive projects related to
Process improvement
Proactive operational and infrastructure risk mitigation
