Client currently seeks a Senior vRealize Engineer with a strong background using vRealize Automation (VRA) and vRealize Orchestrator (VRO The Engineer will be responsible for building out a self-service server provisioning workflow. In this role, you will be developing automation solutions for providing self service capabilities to simplify IT. Responsibilities: • Serve as a subject matter expert for automation and orchestration solutions. • Develop and implement an automated end-to-end server provisioning solution for Windows and Linux based systems. • Develop and implement workflow automation for server provisioning requests. • Advanced scripting within Linux and/or Windows environments to establish automation capabilities. • Configure& manage vRealize Automation CenteSr infrastructure services. • Configure and manage a service catalog. • Provide Architecture solution to develop Self Service Portal and Infrastructure automation. • Create Automation solutions using VMware technologies, Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic and SOA. • Work with internal as well as external resources to achieve project goals. • Manage vRealize Automation Center 6.2 entities on VMware® hardware, third-party hardware, and cloud infrastructures • Understand and configure vCloud Automation Center workflows • Integrate VMware® vCenter™ Orchestrator™ with vCloud Automation Center • Automate application provisioning with VMware vCloud® Application Director • Apply best practices, strategies, methodologies, and approaches to support of the cloud stack environment
Expertise in vCloud Automation Center & vRealize Automation Center architecture. • Install, configure and manage vRealize Automation Center 6.2 and components. • Experience with vRealize and Cloud Orchestration and Automation Tools. • Experience with automation tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, Terraform and others. • Advanced scripting within Linux and/or Windows environments to establish automation capabilities. • Experience with ITSM Tool (Service Now, Remedy) workflow automations. • Windows/Linux VM deployment automations • Experience with ASP.NET and SQL. • Excellent organizational skills and oral and written communication skills. • Critical attention to detail, thoroughness in documentation and emails. • Ability to work independently.
