SDN Technical Lead
We have an immediate need for a hands-on SDN Technical Lead for opportunity in Greenville, SC. This position is a long term contract, position. Ideally we’re seeking someone with both hands-on technical experience and experience working on the customer side.
Requirements:
Experience in SDN/NFV concepts and standards
o ODL, ONOS, Open Contrail, ONAP, Ansible
o OSS/BSS (Service Provisioning and Activation)
o NFV – Open stack, virtual firewall, virtualization
Strong knowledge of telecom and networking technologies such as MEF 2.0, WAVE Service (Layer 1, Layer 2, and Layer 3), Ethernet Service
Strong working knowledge of programming language; Python, REST, JSON, TOSCA, YAML, DEVOPS
Transport Domain and Integration, MDSO, PCE (Path Computation Engine)
Architectural experience or knowledge of NMS/EMS and provisioning
Excellent client interfacing skills with ability to coordinate and interface with cross-cultural teams
Should have experience in onsite-offshore working model
Ability to work in agile scrum team
Preferred/Desired Skills & Experience:
Working knowledge on Open Day Light (ODL) Controller and TOSCA template based implementation
Knowledge of network element protocols (TL1, CLI, SNMP, NetConf)
Familiarity with web services and web technologies such as HTTP, Restful API, JSON, XML.
Fundamental experience with Software development environments Git, Docker
Experience on Ciena Blue Planet, specifically related to building resource adapters
Experience with Ethernet Switches and Routers (L3 domain): Cisco, Juniper
Experience with virtualization: Open Stack / VMware, KVM, libvirt
