Job Description :
The SDET Engineer will contribute to automated test software, automation infrastructures, test plans and test cases and execute testing on mobile devices, web interfaces, and server side infrastructure. You will work closely with other QA engineers to complete various automation efforts. Your work will directly contribute to the shipping of our high quality products.
Requirements:
An understanding of modular programming and object oriented programming techniques in Python
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to handle multiple competing priorities and work in a dynamic environment is essential
Experience working with continuous integration systems testing back-end APIs
Candidates should be comfortable installing, configuring, and working on Linux and mobile operating systems
Industry experience in QA with a focus on large scale client server applications and implementing automated testing software
Highly Desirable Skills:
Experience writing test infrastructures and tooling
Familiarity with deployment tools such as Ansible
Knowledge of MySQL and queries
Familiarity with server virtualization software such as Docker
Experience working with mobile automation (Android or iOS)
Responsibilities:
Help improve existing automation frameworks
Execute and debug automated tests
Adhere to software and testing best practices
Give timely helpful feedback in code reviews
Design, develop and review test strategies and test cases
Provide test execution results and regular reports on your testing
Participate in feature specification reviews
File high quality bug reports
Proactively question everything, to look for testing efficiency gains
Provide input on what should be automated
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
