The successful candidate will have 4 years or more or experience within supply chain. Additionally, the incumbent will have exposure to; maintaining company portfolios, external supply, market intelligence, developing sourcing strategies, and tracking KPI’s.

SCM Analyst - Category Management Job Details
Assist Category Management in maintaining company demand profiles and external supply and demand market intelligence (MI) information.
Gathering and cleansing spend information.
Collecting and compiling category specific demand forecasts.
Researching and tracking current and emerging market intelligence (trends, indices, cause/effect, etc.
Analyzing supply markets to establish available (current & future) market capacity and lead times.
Profiling key supply market competitors.
Developing should cost models.
Supporting Category Management in development of sourcing strategies.
Developing RFX packages.
Compiling and evaluating proposals.
Preparing award recommendations.
Provide analytics support for ongoing management for key agreements.
Developing/tracking key performance indicators (KPIs
Supporting agreement amendments.
Respond to ad hoc requests for market pricing, economic intelligence, supplier profiles, industry trends, reporting, etc.
Assist in development and data capture of reports, metrics, and dashboards.
SCM Analyst - Category Management Mandatory Skills
Degree in Supply Chain, Economics, Business, Finance or Engineering – or relevant work experience
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
MS Office, esp. MS Excel (data extraction, advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc)
Detail orientated, organized, pro-active and acts with a sense of urgency
