Position Description/Responsibilities:
SCCM/MDT Deployment Specialist.
Introduction
Vendor shall provide the services necessary to accomplish all the tasks and subtasks in this Statement of Work (SOW) and to successfully install, configure, test, and implement all the components listed including, but not limited to, all associated software and/or firmware, patches/fixes, and interfaces, post implementation support, technical and end-user training.
Vendor must have prior experience within the last 5 years in the following:
Implementing and optimizing System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) for large businesses
Implementing zero-touch workstation deployment solutions to automate desktop and server deployments using SCCM and MDT
Creating a framework for SCCM centralized IT analytics and dashboards
Tasks
Customer is planning to implement automated patching and operating system deployment using SCCM and MDT 2013. The following is required:
Evaluate current SCCM/MDT infrastructure and recommend expansion improvements such as the addition of multiple distribution points
Evaluate current SCCM/MDT infrastructure and recommend redundancy improvements such as the addition of servers
Evaluate current infrastructure and recommend solutions for imaging remote sites
Evaluate current infrastructure and provide a roadmap for a successful Wake On LAN solution that can begin to be implemented immediately
Evaluate WSUS integration with SCCM and MDT
Recommend tracking and reporting of software licensing and software usage
Create strategy for auto deployment of client agents based off boundaries
Strategize the management of client agents not on the network (via cloud)
Create strategy and plan for adding Distribution Point on the cloud
Recommend additional features and best practice for OSD (Open Software Distribution), SCOM (System Center Operations Manager), MDT 2013
Recommend best way to integrate existing Service Desk tools and processes with SCCM
Deliverables
Automatic patching strategy for security updates, software, and critical updates for client workstations
Fully functional Windows 10 custom golden image including:
o Driver packages for all Customer’s desktops, laptops & tablets
o Additional application packages as needed
MDT 2013 with SCCM integration
Windows 10 zero-touch Operating System deployment using SCCM and MDT 2013 for Customer desktops, laptops & tablets
Individual SCCM console user accounts with access to specific functions
Workstation patch level reporting
Compliance/non-compliance reporting with auto-remediation
Mac agent pushing
Software update management for OSX devices
