Job Description:

Responsibilities will include:
Manage deployment of all patches, critical updates and service packs on a timely basis according to Information Security policy.
Develop and manage global deployments of OEM hardware vendor device drivers, BIOS updates, etc via SCCM.
Responsible for Desktop Application/Software Distribution.
Create and Manage application deployment objects for new and existing software packages.
Manage Operating Systems Deployments (OSD)/Upgrades via SCCM. Maintain, update, and troubleshoot workstation images and task sequences with SCCM Operating System Deployment.
Develop and execute on enterprise workstation imaging / deployment methodology, including Windows 10 In Place upgrades and deployment of Windows 10 Edition updates.
Create and implement upgrade strategies for the current environment with specific attention to Microsoft SCCM, GPOs, and WSUS.
Develop custom/ad hoc reports in SCCM as needed to accurately identify PC application deployments, configuration characteristics and security baselines within the enterprise
Perform daily SCCM infrastructure and client health monitoring and repair issues.
Troubleshoot failed systems management deployments and repair client health issues.
Develop and execute on plan for increasing overall desktop platform optimization and standardization.
Implement / Support Security Policies / Audits - Troubleshoot / Resolve Security Permissions Issues.
Provide Tier III Support escalation to Site Support/Service Desk Teams.
Qualifications include:
Bachelors of Science degree in computer-oriented technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager 2012 in a multi-site, enterprise environment.
Minimum 5 years experience engineering/administering Microsoft client operating systems including Windows 7 & 10 in global, distributed enterprise environments.
Strong knowledge of Windows Server 2008+ and Active Directory, GPO’s, PowerShell, and Windows administration tools in general.
This position has global responsibility so time zone differences may require periodic scheduled team and project meeting on off-hours.
Effective verbal and written communication skills so as to allow for messaging/presentation among various personnel and leadership.
May also have:
Apple Mac OS X Support and Client Management via JAMF.
Practical experience/knowledge with SaaS/cloud/mixed modern device management solutions such as Microsoft Intune, VMWare Airwatch, etc
Practical experience/knowledge of Local Administrator Rights Management/Least Privilege Security tools and solutions.
Demonstrable ability to analyze large, complex IT Client Service Systems and Architecture in a way that allows for the implementation of cost-effective and robust implementation.
A proven record of setting and meeting deadlines with limited supervision is required
