Job Description :
This team is looking for a SCCM 2012 Subject Matter Expert with 5-7 years'' of experience to join their project as soon as possible. The team has deployed most of the infrastructure in a migration from SCCM 2007-SCCM 2012. Looking for a resource that has a skill level somewhere between an Admin and Architect with enterprise infrastructure. This resource has the opportunity to extend on 6 month intervals.
This individual will sit with a team of 8 in Houston who are all configuration managers/ admins/ architects/ 3rd level support. The culture is an easy going group, but has very tight deadlines. Prefers local candidates.
Top Skills:
5-7 years'' of experience, with working experience of SCCM 2007 and SCCM 2012 within the past 3-5 years performing the responsibilities listed
Knowledge of Windows Server Operating Systems
Enterprise environment experience
Good/professional communication
Migration experience with SCCM 2007-2012
Multi-tasker
Nice to have:
PowerShell, OS scripting
Active Directory knowledge
Responsibilities:
Assist team in build, configuration, and deployment of SCCM 2012.
Provide daily operational support of SCCM 2012
On-call rotation-monitoring the system, emergency break fix activities
Assist with client migration
Build servers, install configuration management software, troubleshoot issues on both systems, proof of concept
