Skills/Duties
Maintain agency Windows Servers/workstations security updates.
Applies patches to servers, workstations and SCCM images.
Images workstation, thin client, and tablets using SCCM. eRecover, reload, and restore files, server volumes and databases from backup.
Monitor, maintain and troubleshoot Active Directory environment.
Troubleshoots and resolve LAN/WAN connectivity issues
Create, modify GPO''s
Administer Office 365, SCCM, SCOM, SCVMM, SCSM and related systems.
Performs other technical duties as assigned.
Ability to use rigorous logic and methods to solve difficult problems with effective solutions.
Can see hidden problems.
Is excellent at honest analysis.
Looks beyond the obvious and does not stop at the first answers.
OTHER SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: May require travel to other locations, transportation provided.
II. WORKER SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Requirements:
Years Skills/Experience
5 Experience in supporting an Enterprise Active Directory with working knowledge of at least one of the following environments:
5 Windows Server 2008 or 2012, Microsoft System Center 2008 or 2012, VMware ESX,
5 UNIX/ LINUX, EMC Networker. Must have working knowledge of GPO''s and PowerSheII.
5 Demonstrated problem-solving and solution development skills and the ability to explain problems and propose solutions with rationale to management.
5 Must have advanced knowledge of system development and scripting with SCCM 2008/2012
Preferences:
Years Skills/Experience
Certification MCSE 2008 or 2012 (will not accept earlier)
Certification MCSA 2008 or 2012 (will not accept earlier)
Certification VMware VCP5 (later version is acceptable)
Certification EMCBA (EMC Legato)
Certification CompTia or Red Hat Linux (within last 5 years)
