Essentials:
SAS admin Junior.Experienced in installation, configuration and maintenance
of the SAS program products on various OS platforms Experienced in SAS
GRID installation Extensive experience managing SAS environments within
financial services Have working knowledge in all aspects of SAS
application. - Server, User, and SAS EBI platform administration, including
implementation, configuration, upgrade, migration, maintenance,
coordination, problem resolution, testing, usage and performance monitoring
and the design/development of SAS system infrastructure Experience in
aligning SAS servers, applicable security infrastructure and the systems
and processes with tactical and strategic information management
initiatives Understand the security models (both for SAS and the
organization) involved in administering the SAS installation Experience
in planning, coordinating and implementing patches, upgrades, SAS product
maintenance, troubleshoot SAS system related problems Responsible for the
overall availability of the SAS tools and software environment Understand
how to apply hot fixes, patches, and service packs Have some experience
in developing performance metrics; maintain SAS licenses and monitoring a
system environment Ability to interface with all aspects of an IT
infrastructure especially as it pertains to setting best practices, making
recommendations and working with SAS to make it fit with existing IT
rules Assist with SAS capacity and disaster recovery planning and

SAS admin Junior.Understand the backup and retention policy of the
operating system and data: Perform and schedule regular backups of the
Metadata Server and physical files; Implement best practices for backup
processes Knowledge of Change Management procedures and version control
for SAS code Strong knowledge of the operating system(s) that SAS is
installed on, such as memory management, file system architecture, CPU
utilization etc Understand the SAS architecture at the site, e.g., PC
only, client server, multi-tier, etc.
