Job Description :
Facilitate discussions with business, other IT areas, and external parties, capture and distribute meeting notes
identify and understand requirements, impacts, and gaps
works with team to share requirements, identify accurate levels of effort, and delivery plans for all initiatives
debug / reverse engineer existing SAS process for any enhancements or incidents
walk through SAS programs and understand program logic for peer reviews, quality control, KT, troubleshooting incidents
design, develop, implement, troubleshoot, optimize, tune, and validate SAS ETL / DWH processes
know and apply standard development and deployment protocols
create, execute, and review unit test plans based on business requirements
understand standard change approval processes and release management; represent team as required
maintenance, operations, and support, including off-hours and weekends
tracking offshore work and available bandwidth, assigning and reviewing offshore work, status reporting
rapid turnaround on critical issues and delivery of fixes to ensure work is on time, every time (including offshore)
Skills:
Health care background is a must
strong SAS ETL development, SAS application general knowledge
strong SQL skills
strong business and data analysis skills
strong data warehousing knowledge – principals, concepts, considerations, structures
good data and solution architectural skills
strong MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio) skills (including pivot tables in Excel)
experience in waterfall and agile methodologies
experience leading teams
excellent communication skills
corporate tools a plus (i.e., ServiceNow, ALM, Sharepoint, TFS, MS Project)
MHS is a plus
working knowledge of healthcare and healthcare insurance
Informatica is a plus
BMC is a plus
