We have an exciting opportunity for a SAS/BI Programmer to join a rapidly growing financial organization in Wilmington, DE. This is a great opportunity to work in a startup environment experiencing tremendous growth. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity, converting Perm in 2019.

Must be local enough to do Face to Face in Wilmington, DE

Position:

As a SAS/BI Programmer, the individual will contribute/lead the design and development of information solutions to address business challenges:

· Extract, transform and summarize and create data visualizations, dashboards, and operational scorecards to help drive performance improvement, and the support of business operations specifically focusing on analytics that impact business decision making

· Identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve efficiency by streamlining, scaling and automating tools and processes. Implement improvements as appropriate.

· Work closely with business units to understand their information needs and deliver high-quality actionable information.

· Conduct ad hoc analysis to improve process and gain efficiencies using data from various sources

· Revising data dictionary definitions, governance practices, and standards


Technical Environment:

· SAS

· SQL

Required Skills:

· Advanced experience with designing, testing, deploying and managing scalable data for use by cross-functional teams. This includes requirements analysis, platform selection, technical architecture design, application design and development consulting, testing, and deployment of projects

· SAS programming, very hands-on

· Data analysis using SQL

· Financial industry experience

· Experience building dashboards for the business (Will be building dashboards for Collections)

· Experience gathering business requirements

· Able to triage issues

· Able to deep dive into business needs

· Tableau

Additional Notes:

· May travel to Austin in September for the portfolio conversion.
