SAP Technical Lead

Day to Day job Duties: (what this person will do on a daily/weekly basis) The candidate will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing and supporting integrations between latest versions of SAP (ECC, Ariba, CRM, SRM and BI) and non-SAP applications using PI 7.3 version. Handle planning discussions with customer leadership teams and collaboratively deliver planning deliverables such as plans, estimates, etc. Directly work with the technical and functional SMEs in analyzing work deliverables to ensure timely and bug-free deliverables. Experience with standard communication protocols, Service Oriented Architecture and Web Services Basic Qualifications: (what are the skills required to this job with minimum years of experience on each) Must have hands-on overall 8-10 years SAP work experience. At least 6 years hands-on experience in SAP XI / PI integration projects. Worked in latest SAP versions- PI 7.1 or higher, ECC 6.0 and at least one of the SAP Business suits (CRM/SRM/HCM Experience in requirements gathering, graphical mapping and documenting technical designs Develop PI interfaces in compliance with governance guidelines Experience in EDI/ALE/ Idocs. EDI messages in the SAP PI/PO based integration applications including Customer/Supplier connections Experience in performance tuning and code optimization Configuration/implementation of adapters (IDoc, RFC, JDBC, File, Proxy, SOAP, HTTP, REST Minimum of 2-3 project experience in SAP-Ariba integration projects Travel: This position requires someone who can travel at least 80%. Degree: Bachelors and/or a Master’s Degree or equivalent. Nice to Have; (But not a must) Experience with full life cycle implementations and complex integrations Convert business/functional requirements into architectural designs, technical specifications and test plans in accordance with established service level and documentation standards. Coding focused on development standards, naming conventions and industry best practices Develop and maintain working relationships with a diverse group of business, functional and technical people. Strong communication skills.
