Responsibilities and Duties:
The overall responsibilities of this role cover the solutioning and delivery of SAP Security for various project and operational initiatives.
From a project perspective, that covers engineering and consulting skillsets including the assessment and documentation of requirements, developing an appropriate SAP Security design that aligns with SAP Security design practices, (like SoD/compliant, least privilege, following master/derived methodology), architecture, configuration, testing (DEV, SIT, UAT), deployment and resulting user conversion activities using a variety of cutover methods (i.e. GRC, mass assignment into production.
This also includes follow-on bug fixes.
The candidate should possess strong communication and project management skills to interact with, workshop and facilitate multiple business groups, driving alignment on key design decisions.
From an operational perspective, this role requires the candidate to be able to analyze and troubleshoot issues as they get placed in the support queue for resolution.
The candidate should possess strong skills in root cause analysis and applying professional skepticism when responding/supporting the end user community especially when it comes to facilitating the access request process and ensuring that access granted is alignment with policy and process requirements and that role ownership is appropriately managed.
Required Skills:
SAP Security module experience, at a minimum should cover Core ECC (FI/CO, Treasury, Fixed Assets, Supply Chain, Master Data), MDG, GRC.
Any additional Security experience with one or multiple new SAP technologies such S/4HANA and SaaS solutions (IBP, ARIBA, Concur, SuccessFactors, BPC 11) is desirable but not mandatory.
5+ years’ experience desirable.
