Description –

SAP S/4 HANA FI, Enterprise Structure and Financial Data Conversion Consultant

This position is expected to provide expert level business process guidance on SAP requirements and design for General Ledger and Enterprise Structure. Required experience includes:
In depth knowledge of the financial processes, accounting and regulatory reporting in US electric utilities.
Design/configure business processes in SAP FI to automate the management and external reporting of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management, manage posting periods and period end close and enable open and integrated data flow between financial account and the other components of the SAP system. Prepare best practice business process flows and other materials for functional design workshops
Conducting workshops to complete Blueprint deliverables including PDDs, Fit-Gap Analysis, Functional Specifications, and RICEFW inventory and related business benefits.
Prepare Enterprise Structure for finance applications (FI, CO, FERC, Planning & Budgeting, AP, AR, Assets, and Employee Expenses) including designing chart of accounts and cost/revenue flows to meet financial, managerial and regulatory (e.g., FERC and SEC)reporting
Design and complete configuration of SAP FI in IBM IMPACT or SAP Model Company for workshop demonstrations and prototype.
Ability to engage with client financial and regulatory management in defining priorities and manage escalations to ensure successful SAP implementation.
Excellent communication skills in English.
Identify and confirm data conversions for the SAP finance applications in scope (FI, CO, FERC, Planning & Budgeting, AP, AR, Assets, and Employee Expenses
Map data from sources to targets for data conversion.
