Job Description :
Project Manager for medium and large-scale project initiatives that support IT projects driving process, people and technology transformation
Track, manage and publish Program / Projects status and budget on monthly basis
Lead and manage teams (may include employees, third-party vendors and/or consultants) to plan and drive project execution (on-time, budget, scope);
Also manage vendor’s contracts
Manage and coordinate the development of detailed project plans and schedules using established client’s standard project methodology
Monitors project milestones and critical dates to identify potential jeopardy of project schedule.
Establishes project communication plan with assistance (as needed)
Conducts project meetings (kickoff, status, sponsor etc, and sometimes with assistance, establishes/runs project steering committee meeting
Communicates individual roles and project expectations. Ensures that all project team members have the tools and training required to perform effectively.
Delivers project communications and proactively communicate status, issues and risks to all project stakeholders
Drive timely IT decision making for the project working across IT functions, and with assistance, supports the timely business based decision making by engaging IT and Business sponsors / stakeholders Obtains IT and business approvals for all checkpoints
Develop and coordinate the development of checkpoint documentation as required by the client.
Project Governance and Methodology process. Present and coordinate the presentation of program / project checkpoints for stakeholder and leadership approvals
Drive timely decisions by key stakeholders in the context of the overall program and assigned projects relative to scope, schedule, costs/benefits
Supports the documentation, review, and approval of the project business case as required
Manage the gathering of multiple sources of project related data and input (technical, business functional, financial), then summarize and provide conclusions for Client.
leadership to utilize for project based decisions and actions.
Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with project sponsors (business and IT), vendors and key clients
Be accountable for the successful delivery of the overall Employee Experience program, projects and its deliverables
Partner with Corporate Communications Sponsor(s) to communicate the program strategy and approach to appropriate stakeholders
Partner with the IT Project Manager(s) to proactively manage the project and to communicate project progress, performance and results to client’s leadership
Collaborate with project team to identify potential project risks and assist with the development of preventative plans
7-10 years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager, with proven ability to manage concurrent projects
Proven experience and focus on driving user engagement, adoption and acceptance within complex IT technology-based change initiatives
Previous experience in large-scale IT global system implementations, especially with Global Supply Chain projects, ERP implementations (SAP, ORACLE, Infor) or Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) implementations
Proven success managing business and technology change within challenging environments – Retail IT experience preferred
PMP or PgMP certification preferred
Strong presentation, communication and facilitation skills
Successful application of a variety of project management tools and methods (Clarity, SAP, MS Project) to manage program initiatives in line with client standards
Knowledge and experience with Office365 (Office Pro Plus, SharePoint, Yammer) and other collaboration tools strongly preferred
