SAP Project Manager
Location – Houston, TX
Looking for a SAP Project Manager with experience in Procurement, Plant maintenance and accounting modules
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage projects using Waterfall and Agile methodologies;
Evaluate and document Business Cases, Use Cases, and User Stories;
Formalize Project Briefs/Charters;
Analyze and document business processes, and collect detailed business requirements from customers, end-users, and IT support teams;
Orchestrate and lead the reiterative designs of the to-be solution, including new business processes, system architecture, infrastructure, application features and capabilities;
Drive the development and construction of the solution, lead the team in solving business and technical problems along the way;
Coordinate with internal and external resource owners on resource allocation, task assignments, and delivery schedules;
Control costs, schedule, and risk mitigation plans;
Lead project teams to perform unit, integration, regression, and user testing in preparation for new implementations and releases
Fulfill the change and release management role for projects;
Keep stakeholders, superiors, team leads and peers informed of project status, and actively manage cross-team and cross-functional issues and dependencies, and any significant technical challenges ahead of their occurrence;
Personally manage and deliver the final results through go-live events, and provide post-production support, lessons learned, and project close-out activities.
Qualifications:
College education;
Minimum 10 years of IT Project Management experiences, PMP certification preferred;
Experience with SAP Procurement, PM (Plant maintenance) and accounting modules
Having managed project budgets of up to US$1 million, and team sizes of up to 10 people.
Language Ability:
Expert ability to communicate in English in a professional manner;
Knowledge of French is helpful but not required.

Professional IT governance and project management principles, benchmark practices, trends, and lessons learned;
Project management, ITIL, and Procurement knowledge, experiences, and skills;
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills;
Ability to organize and prioritize work load and meet deadlines;
Must be able to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectively;
Ability to host user interviews and user training sessions;
Expert at producing technical documentation including process flowcharts.
Computer Skills:
Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Project.
Extensive experience with web-based productivity tools, document sharing, and task tracking, such as SharePoint and Jira.
