Job Description :
Looking for an SAP PM/MM expert with strong experience in Asset Life cycle Management and Inventory Management.
This person will need to be very strong in Work Management processes and be able to make recommendations for new processes, process improvements and change management.
Need to be able to tie in work management process with financials for reporting purposes.
Would be responsible for ensuring progress of the projects.
We have three projects which we will need consulting help to design the process for the following:
Public Works - Street Sign Inventory Management This includes blueprinting the new process and outlining the implementation process.
There may be several ways to accomplish this, and will need to understand and implement.
For example; The Inventory for street signs may be held as Stock and created as equipment in SAP when deployed, or the street signs may be assigned equipment Ids at time of purchase in an inactive status and changed to active when deployed.
The method will need to be determined based on SAP Best Practice and have the ability to run reports to show current available signs and when to reorder.
IT - Asset Management. This includes blueprinting the new process and outlining the implementation process.
Equipment is approximately:
67 Servers
1827 Radios
600 Network Equipment
2200 PC/Laptops
Fleet - Process Improvement Outline the current business process identifying ways to change the existing process for process improvements.
The process improvements will need to be implemented in stages, to allow the BU time to understand and work with the new processes.
The process improvement may be to design a better GuiXT approach or setup an SAP Portal for ease of entry and reporting.
The SAPGu user experience is the largest issue with our Fleet processes.
Also help setup TPU Fleet with MRP, identify and document process.
Required Skills:
SAP PM / MM Functional experience
They need is a Functional resource with a strong knowledge of the processes in and around MM-IM and PM.
The first phase will be analysis of the current processes and to recommend improvements.
Next, this resource will do hands-on configuration until budget runs out.
