Job Description :
The client is looking to bring in a PI consultant to help with configuration, interface development, support, and performance tuning.
They have a BASIS team already, but want performance tuning to fall to this person.
Required:
Strong development experience in PI (heavy config, interface development, and support)
JAVA stack development
PI administration and performance tuning
Preferred:
They’d like to have candidates with functional module experience.
The candidate they’re considering has this experience, including some Oil and Gas experience. FI, MM, PRA, HR
Details:
Provide operational support in SAP PI 7.4 including
Should have experience in coordinating with clients.
SAP PI 7.4-7.5 experience is preferred.
Should have worked on adapters like (File, SFTP, REST, JDBC, RFC, SOAP, HTTP_AAE, MAIL
Should have exposure to good troubleshooting knowledge in Mapping and Adapters connectivity issues
Should be familiar with NWA and administrative aspects
Should be familiar with analysis tools like Wily introscope
Should be familiar with the SAP PI web service API
Should be familiar with PGP and Seeburger modules
UNIX capabilities (Solaris and Linux)
Should have well experience in ITIL ProcessFamiliar with change and problem management Process – preferably ServiceNow)
Provide implementation and handling of sub-projects
Should be responsible for understanding and coordinating with functional consultant before developing any interface.
Should develop the SLD, ESR, and NWDS objects by following the standard naming conventions under design guidelines
Should have experience in implementation and support project.
Should have worked with Graphical Mapping or Java mapping or XSL mapping
Should have worked with adapter module development

Skills:
Candidate should have 3 years of experience in SAP PI 7.4/ 7.5 and in with 2 to 3 End-to-End Implementations.
Worked with Graphical Mapping, UDFs, XSLT and Java mapping
Worked on adapters like (FILE, SFTP, RFC, JDBC, SOAP, REST, HTTP_AAE and MAIL
Expertise with iFlow/ICO scenarios configuration using NWDS
Expertise with web services
Experience in Configuration and Monitoring Home.
Worked on CTS+ and File transport system.
Worked on SLD configuration
Expert in Component based Alert configuration
Domain knowledge on SAP modules FI, PRA, MM, PM and HR are preferable.
Well experienced in trouble shooting any PI issues.
Strong administration and performance knowledge of SAP PI
Strong Java development skills (mapping, adapter modules, SAP J2EE applications)
Strong knowledge of adapter modules (e.g. PGP, Seeburger)
Prefer to have worked with ABAP proxies, function modules and reports
Prefer to be expertise in coding ABAP and OOABAP
Perform Support and Operations
Experience in implementation, migration and support projects.
Experience in coordinating with clients.
Experienced in QM methods and root cause analysis
