Specific responsibilities include the following:
Determine overall integration architecture. NOTE: Currently, we have quite a bit of SAP interfaces that are built with various pieces of technology – some quite old; but still work. Need someone to assess the technology we currently use to integrate with SAP and what other technology, if any, is readily available.
Lead the technical team to meet deliverables schedule. Technical team includes input from multiple organizations. Candidate should have functional expertise (Source to Contract – S2C and Purchase to Pay – P2P) and technical (ABAP, SAP PI, Informatica
Identify critical path for integration, prioritize and assign work to technical team
Seek input from GEP technical resources for integration best practices between GEP and SAP
Build the case for answers to key integration design decisions and communicate decisions
Gain buy-in to design decisions across the technical team
Assist the team in resolving technical issues as needed
Ensure designs are documented accurately by the team
Ensure interfaces are accurately and efficiently built and tested by the team (not needed for this blueprint/design phase)
Ensure that the solution is effectively implemented as designed
