Position: SAP Hybris

RESPONSIBILITIES
Design, develop and deploy solutions on the Hybris Commerce platform
Coordinate design activities with other related or dependent application delivery teams.
Document design decisions and integrations resulting from new designs, system changes or upgrades.
Migrate updates from sandbox environments to production when required.
Support unit testing during development.
Participate in SIT, an end to end and unit testing efforts in cooperation with overall QA coordinator.
Manage defect triage, resolution, and remediation for SAP Hybris platform during integrated testing.
Produce, distribute, and administer release notes.
Review existing solutions, architecture and detailed designs and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with offshore development teams. Set programming strategy, expectations, and priorities throughout development life cycle
Develop and leverage understanding of integration & dependencies with other systems and platforms within the architecture
Develop designs for non-functional requirements like availability, assurance, adaptability, continuity, and efficiency.
Other development related tasks as required.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Experience with Hybris Commerce 5.x and 6.x versions with the B2C and Telco accelerators.
Specific experience with Hybris Commerce 6.x capabilities including Smart Edit, Personalization, and Back Office components.
Hands-on experience developing Java-based systems with frameworks like Spring.
Experience with Datahub and integration of Hybris applications to other enterprise systems.
Experience with SOLR and customizing the Hybris framework (modules, cockpits, templates)
Experience with SDLC and Agile SCRUM development methodology.
Knowledge of source control tools like GitHub/Stash and build/CI tools like Maven, Bamboo, and Jenkins/Hudson.
Experience using databases like Oracle Database EE, SQL Server, and MySQL.
Experience with Test Driven Development and establishing development best practices.
Ability to maintain composure and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills with equally strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels in the organization.
Proficient computer skills, including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, etc.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline.
5+ years of hands-on experience working on SAP Hybris Commerce as a Developer.
7+ years of hands-on Java, JEE, and object-oriented programming expertise, must be familiar with industry best practices.
Telecom industry experience with integration with wireless providers and MVNEs is a plus.
Hybris certifications a plus, but not required.
Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOAP and REST), API Management, distributed systems and enterprise systems integration.
Experience is synchronizing product definition and catalog between Hybris Commerce and other enterprise systems.
Experience with SAP Hybris deployment on AWS is desirable
