An evolving global HR platform that supports the needs of multiple countries and across multiple languages in order to meet the demands of the business. The SAP Payroll IT Business Analyst II will work in a team environment to recommend and deliver technology enabling global business processes in the SAP Payroll, Benefits, and Time modules. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of SAP HR specific modules supporting the SAP Payroll process. Knowledge of the integration of SAP HCM with other applications including SAP FI, Success Factors, Kronos, Workbrain will be helpful. This role will be responsible for the technical design and maintenance of our SAP Payroll function as well as being the leader for driving to consistency in processes and methodologies in all application areas.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Work cohesively with IT and HR resources
Understand, design, build, implement and sustain best practice solutions for the functional area
Trackprogress, communicate milestones and escalate issues to management
Execute proof of concept testing in a cross team environment to validate design assumptions
Configure SAP HCM and other HRrelated applications to enable defined business processes and complete configuration documentation
Define and document functional specifications for custom developed applications based on business requirements
Perform testing to ensure the completeness and accuracyof the solution
Ensure the business needs are being met and that assignments are delivered on time by participating in project/planning meetings and communicating regularly with team management and team.
Identify, assess impact, and provide recommendation for resolution of issues related to HR business processes, procedural and system changes; escalate problems of high complexity and severity
Work with HR resources to support, identify, gather information, and develop change requests for existing sustain issues or new requirements
Analyze and understand business data to support decision making and effectively present information
Evaluate alternative procedural and systematic solutions that meet needs while maintaining business standards.
Technical skills to include understanding and debugging ABAPcode
Ability to analyze application integrations and facilitate discussions with ITSS partners to resolve issues and/or improve application performance
Additional duties as assigned


Knowledge and Experience
This IT role will require technical and operational knowledge as well as a solid understanding of the associated business processes.
Minimum of 8 years of IT experience
3 – 4 years of multi-project experience
6 - 8 years of SAP experience preferred
Demonstrates ability to consult on technical direction for global Payroll initiatives
Demonstrates the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with various IT and business groups and their management
Can effectively design technical processes and procedures
Understands organizational dynamics and makes recommendations
Ability to bring innovation and change to a significant IT functional area
Quickly understands technical concepts
Understands that difficult situations/projects/problems/etc, may call for different styles and approaches

SAP HR configuration experience in the following areas is preferred:
SAP Payroll, Benefits, Time, Organizational Management, Personnel Administration, and Compensation.
Familiar with IDOC and ALE processes
Knowledgeable of the SAP integration between the SAP HCM modules and external systems like SAP ECC/BW, SAP Portals, SAP SuccessFactors, Kronos and Workbrain
