SAP Functional Consultant/ERP Implementation Support
Location: Creve Coeur, MO
Duration: 10-11 months
Description:
Manager is currently looking for an SAP Functional Developer/Configurator in the Payroll area. The SAP Functional Developer/Configurator is responsible for: participating in gathering requirements, including leading, designing and providing guidance on recommendations; collaborating with the business on current processes and proposing solutions to enhance current processes and implementing complex configuration solutions to meet business needs.
Responsibilities will include:
- Working in close relationship to Payroll and HR Technology teams to understand business processes.
- Planning, design, configuration, testing of SAP Payroll Modules.
- Driving improvements and enhancements working with Payroll and development team.
- Development of Functional Design Specifications and other detailed enhancement documentation to support custom program and reports development.
- Cross-functional work with ABAP, Security, Basis, Operations, and other teams as necessary to resolve technical and process issues
- Understanding and supporting integration issues that affect Payroll Process.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements either in existing designs or by adopting new functionalities available.
Required skills:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- 4 years of SAP payroll experience in a company of over 8,000 employees.
- 3 years of configuration experience with SAP tax reporter for US W-2 reporting.
- 3 years of configuration experience with SAP tax reporter for unemployment reporting
- 2 years of configuration experience with the SAP Benefits Module and Deductions Module.
- Excellent working knowledge of SAP Wage Types, Infotypes, Tax Companies, Tax Types, Tax Authorities, Tax Authority Models, Taxability Models and Tax Type Combinations
- Working knowledge of Excel

- 2 years of configuration experience with SAP Canadian Year-end reporting (T4, T4A)
- 2 years of Canadian payroll experience
- SAP Time Management experience
