Title: SAP Finance SME
Location - Culver City CA
Duration: 4 months plus possible extension
Summary for this role
· The role demands supporting Design and Architecture for Finance and Treasury solutions. The Finance SME is the key contributor in defining solution strategy and design principles, and ensuring the alignment between the business needs and technical solutions.
· This is not a HANA upgrade or BW on HANA role, but more of a SAP finance (Primary) with treasury (Secondary) SME role that can manage small size projects independently.
Job Description:
· Serving as a subject matter expert to guide technology strategy for SAP Record to Report, Procure-to-Pay and Treasury solutions
· Presenting High Level Solution Designs to Business stakeholders
· Working with business teams and technical analysts to understand business requirements
· Conducts conceptual and detailed design (blueprint) activities against project requirements and delivers a detailed blueprint and solutions design document within FI/CO module area covering all required aspects.
· Serving as a technical resource for business teams to help define, estimate and recommend optimized solutions
· Reviewing and signing off on functional and technical designs
· Working with development, infrastructure, test, and production support teams to ensure proper implementation of solution.
Required Skills:
· Overall 10+ years of Information technology experience
· 8+ years of experience with the SAP Finance and Treasury portfolio
· Experience integrating business solutions using middleware
· 5+ years of experience as a Finance SME / Solution Architect designing and integrating systems
· Experience in Media Industry business process is preferred
· Strong writing experience producing application and system architecture designs
· Experience articulating the relationship between the business needs and recommended system architecture to business leaders and stakeholders
· A solid understanding of ASAP methodology - as well as Agile Scrum
· Understanding of information technology security and Privacy information
