Job Description :
Need a resource who is local to NY/NJ/CT locations, do not submit non-local. H1B visa is okay, 2 rounds of interview – 1st round telephonic/Skype and 2nd round will be a in-person interview. Need a solid communication.

This position is based in midtown NYC and requires a physical presence in the NY Office 5 days / week. Preference will be given to local candidates from the vicinity of NYC, without the need for weekly travel from afar.

Support end users mainly in the US, related to the Finance, Order to Cash and Supply Chain functions; proactively manage end-user requests and open tickets as per agreed SLA’s
Manage relationships with key users and external partners as the go-to person for all support issues
Gain knowledge of all existing interfaces related to Banking (bank statements, Lockbox, outgoing payments),
T&E, APO & Essbase applications (used for Price planning and Financial reporting)
Support Finance master data setup in ECC, including GL accounts, maintenance of hierarchies, mapping
tables, WBS codes etc.
Manage user administration and authorizations with external partner, provide end-user support/training on
topics related to the Finance domain
Assist in unit testing of new programs and enhancements in support of current projects
Coordinate user acceptance testing as well as preparation of test scripts and appropriate documentation
Support the various systems that connect with SAP (Fiori, ReadSoft Process Director, BW)
Assist in the migration project from ECC to S/4HANA

Minimum Requirements
7 + years of FI/CO experience in an IT project/support role overseeing the Finance/Controlling modules; some exposure to S/4 Hana, APO, Fiori.
Solid understanding of the integration points between SAP FI/CO and other modules (MM / SD)
Strong technical proficiency and hands-on experience with SAP ECC 6.0; at least one full lifecycle SAP
implementation of the FI/CO module serving as functional lead, architect, or analyst
Ability and comfort with being both hands-on as an individual contributor and managing through others when delivering technical support and project services
Curiosity and desire to proactively drive continuous improvement and to introduce best practices
Strong leadership and influence skills (both direct and indirect) when dealing with IT and Business
stakeholders across all levels of an organization
BA/S, MA/S degree in IT or MIS
Full written and spoken fluency in English (French desired, but not essential)
Experience in working with developers and other business partners in designing and development of new functionality.
Hands on experience with SQL, ABAP, ETL tools preferred
Excellent communication and interpersonal customer-oriented skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment; hands-on but capable of interacting with all levels of management and employees
Strong ability to work in cross-functional and cross-geography environment as part of both the local and global IT teams; detail oriented, self-directed with strong problem-solving skills
