Job Description :
ROLE - SAP – FI/CO Consultant / Project Lead
Location: Bay Area, CA

SAP Experience
a. 5-10+ years of SAP FI/CO functional experience specializing in design and configuration of SAP Finance modules
b. Strong FI experience, with FICA & RMCA preferred (but not mandatory)
c. Classic GL, along with account based COPA and Profit Center Accounting
d. SPL preferred
e. Role requires more AR than AP focus
f. Inter Company billing
g. IDOC process experience
h. Revenue recognition
i. Credit card payments / processing skills
j. Experience with IS-T (Industry Specific Telecom) beneficial

4. Project Experience
a. Two full life cycle implementation experience of SAP FI scope above, or multiple projects under belt
b. Experience in gathering business requirements, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go live support.
c. Prior experience in high tech or software industries preferred with good understanding of accounting concepts.
d. Requires excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations creation and delivery.

5. Other Skills
a. Strong accounting background – CPA preferred but not prerequisite

i. Willing to learn and roll up one’s sleeves attitude
ii. Be open and flexible
iii. Demonstrate ability to build a trusting relationship (with IT, the business etc)
c. Communication
i. Ability to navigate within and communicate across different functional teams and end users (IT, Accounting, Tax, PMs etc)
ii. Be able to perform in a lead role (reporting to PM)
