Position Description
Key member of the Business Applications function of IT with prime responsibility for designing, developing, implementing and controlling SAP FI/CO module areas and ensuring that all core business requirements in finance and controlling areas are maintained, new local legal/business requirements are efficiently handled, new business needs are proactively supported, and new SAP functionality delivers business benefits

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
The support, maintenance and enhancement of the FI/CO functionality in SAP (GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets Management, Cost Controlling, Profitability Analysis, CC Accounting, PC Accounting, Overhead Orders) will be the main area of responsibility for the Business Process Manager. In particular:
He/she will be accountable for:
1. The effective and efficient operation of all Business processes by SAP productive environment
2. Proper functioning of all related SAP configuration items
3. Registration, prioritization, resolution and delivery of solutions following change requests or projects
4. Capturing, analyzing and validating business requirements related directly and/or indirectly to finance and controlling area
5. System configuration and implementation of solutions in the FICO area of SAP
6. Unit and integration testing within finance and controlling area of SAP, as well as of all interfaces (inbound and outbound) carrying mostly financial data
He/she will be responsible to:
1. Manage and supervise SAP projects with Financial/Controlling-centered scope
2. Actively participate in business analysis and solution design sessions
3. Collaborate on a permanent basis with all IT members as part of a project team, work group or committee
4. Manage team of consultants in delivering final solution to business owners based on agreed requirements
5. Manage relationships with business owners and power users
6. Supervise and coach internal team analysts/consultants
7. Develop scope of work and functional specification documents
8. Lead and supervise project teams
9. Provide 2nd and 3rd level post go-live support
10. Participate in SAP ERP demonstrations to Business Users as required
11. Train Key/Power Business Users
12. Build and prepare documentation and training material
13. Organize, facilitate meetings and produce comprehensible minutes
Knowledge & Skills
Essential
College or University Degree in Financials, Accounting, Financial Auditing or Computer Science applied to Commercial/Finance area
10+ years of experience in SAP FI/CO configuration in all above sub-areas
5+ years of project management experience in SAP projects
Min. of 5 full cycle implementations under his/her belt
Excellent understanding of the integration points between the FICO and PS/SD/MM/PP Modules
Substantial experience in configuring and supporting SAP CO-PA
5+ years of experience in SAP interfaces with external satellite systems
Proficient knowledge of SAP Data Dictionary in FI/CO area
5+ years of experience in translating the business requirement to technical requirements
Strong communicator; in writing as well as in presenting to senior leadership members and to business owners
Travel is required 25%, mostly within US. There may be some international travel.
Desirable
Experienced with ASAP implementation methodology
Understanding and experience in SAP Business Financial Consolidation system and FSCM
Broad understanding of business processes in Manufacturing and/or Mill & Mining industry
SAP configuration experience in any two of the following (submodules: PS, Treasury, Funds Management, and Financial Cockpit
