Job Description:
· Responsibility for optimization of systems and processes throughout their lifecycles from Analysis through Design, Implementation, Execution and Innovation and support.
Responsibilities:
· Perform activities for implementation and improvement projects and production support for Warehouse Management (WM) related processes and solutions using SAP
· Contribute to the design, configuration and ownership of SAP WM solution (WM/IM/MM)
· Understand integration points between WM and other SAP modules and external solutions
· Elicit, communicate and manage internal and external customer requirements
· Work with business resources to understand needs, document solution requirements and coordinate with technical team for solution design
· Collaborate with other team resources in related functional areas to deliver solutions (Finance to Manage, Order to Cash, Transportation, Procure to Pay) and technical teams (Basis, Security, Development, Integration)
· Understand technical architecture and use of solutions such as Process Orchestrator, Gateway, Cronacle and Fiori
· Provide assessment of solution options with associated business and technology impact, along with estimates for delivery
· Work with IT and business resources to perform testing of solutions, including preparation of test scenarios and scripts
· Log issues and maintain status in issue tracking system for prioritizing work and reporting status
· Create transports to enable solution changes in SAP using Charm
· Quickly understand business needs and translate that understanding into a form that leads to the creation of better solutions
· Analyze and document as-is processes and systems
· Discover process and system gaps
· Advise business and IT resources on best practices for WM solutions and processes
· Assess and recommend solutions to meet requirements
· Provide input to establishing performance measurements to be able to control and report end-to-end process and system performance
· Adhere to software development life cycle deliverables and practices Contribute to and maintain best practice process management approach for Business and IT
· Perform feasibility studies/solution reviews
· Understand and ensure that quality standards are met
· Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and drive to completion
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree
Required Skills:
· 8+ years directly related experience designing, implementing and supporting SAP WM (Warehouse Management, MM Material Management), IM (Inventory Management) and LE (Logistics Execution) processes and solutions to be considered for senior level position
· 3 years in an analytical capacity designing/configuring SAP, ERP or other IT solutions
Preferred:
· Knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution, SAP Transportation Management and Vertex
