Contractor - Sr Business Systems Analyst – SD
Primary Objective
As a critical member of the SAP team, you will be the Subject Matter Expert for SD (Sales & Distribution) as part of a project to implement new Revenue Recognition standards. Your role in this effort will include the evaluation and optimization of systems and resources, management of re-engineering initiatives and ensuring alignment with project objectives.
Major Areas of Accountability
Lead planning, design and implementation of business process changes within assigned areas of responsibility (Sales Develop and maintain thorough understanding of existing business processes, and the information and data they require and generate. Develop and maintain thorough understanding of the computer application functionality required to make those business processes effective.
Lead periodic review and assessment of current business processes versus the required functionality, and initiate proposals to modify or replace processes as necessary. Participate in periodic evaluation of the current computer applications portfolio versus the required functionality, and initiate proposals to modify or replace applications as necessary.
Lead analysis, design, development, implementation and support/troubleshooting of new and existing interfaces to/from SAP to external systems.
Develop requirements for the technical architecture supporting the business systems initiatives.
Organize effective tasks management to address complex and cross-functional project requirements, issues and objectives.
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of work experience in a Business Systems Analyst capacity.
5+ years of work experience overall with SAP.
3+ years of experience with SAP configuration (SD Module
Preferred Qualifications
Expert knowledge of SAP Revenue Recognition concepts, configuration, and processes strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with internal business partners.
Knowledge of additional SAP modules strongly preferred.
Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Technology or equivalent work experience.
Demonstrated project management experience.
Experience with system and process modeling and design tools.
