Job Description
Responsible for technical analysis, design, development, and testing of data connections, universes, and dashboards/reports
Build report/visualizations within the analytic framework to support key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics
Review functional requirements, performance criteria, and data consumption needs to complete the design of technical components.
Design and development of complex analytical queries, reports and visualizations utilizing the Enterprise Business Objects Suite of tools (e.g., Crystal Reports, Web Intelligence Reports, Lumira Visualizations and OLAP queries
Proficient in designing universes for querying, reporting and analysis using Business Objects Designer tool.
Proficient in managing Business Objects in Development, Test, and Production environments, including migrating universes and reports from one environment to another.
Experience with performance tuning Business Objects.
Experience writing SQL, developing SQL stored procedures and highly interested in exploring data for anomalies and trends.
Possesses excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be able to communicate clearly with clients and users, have a track record of providing frequent status updates, and have a track record of working closely with others through design and analysis sessions.
Extensive recent experience with BusinessObjects R3 (Designer and Administration) with bursting functionality including Desktop Intelligence and Web Intelligence Oracle experience including versions 11g.
