Statement of Work for SAP Basis Consultant for Advance Finance Project Support
Background: has started a strategic, multi-year Advance Finance Program to transform Finance from a transaction centric organization to an influencing, thinking centric, go-to partner. As part of Advance Finance, CNP is in the process of implementing S/4HANA Central Finance. We are looking for an energetic and proactive SAP Basis resource to support the implementation of the project. The individual will be responsible to work along with the SAP Basis team, other infrastructure teams (UNIX, LAN Team, Database Team, etc, and the project team including application and business team members. The work includes installation of S/4HANA System along with other dependent components like SLT, NetWeaver Gateway, Fiori, Master Data Governance, Web Dispatcher, and BPC Optimized on Linux environments. Additional setup of ECC on AIX source systems for Central Finance will also be performed. After installation, work responsibilities include supporting the implementation project activities, and troubleshooting and resolving system related issues. This engagement is for a minimum of 3 months with an additional 3-6 month extension depending on the project requirements.
Required Knowledge:
10+ years of experience in SAP Basis/DBA area with AIX/DB2/HANA Platform
Well versed with installation and support of S/4 HANA platform
Knowledge of Central Finance deployment approach
Experience with Configuration of CTS+ for transport Management
Expert knowledge in UI5 configuration
Supporting SAP ECC, CRM, Solution Manager, Sabrix on DB2/HANA databases.
Experience with AIX, Linux and Windows Operating system
Hands on Experience with DB2/HANA/SAP on AIX and Linux
High analytical and troubleshooting skills
Prior experience with SAP performance tuning
Understanding of web/internet-based protocols
Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical team members, and strong documentation skills
Demonstrated team work, self-management and multi-tasking abilities
Working with SAP systems in the cloud
Should have knowledge in Service Now for Change Management Process
Deliverables:
Install S/4 HANA system landscape with Sandbox, Development, Test, Training, Production, and Disaster Recovery
Install SLT, Gateway, MDG, BPC Optimized, Fiori, and Web Dispatcher Components to support Advance Finance System on S/4 HANA
Interface the newly built S/4 HANA and related components with existing systems in the landscape ECC, CRM, Solution Manager etc.
Support requests submitted by project team
Move the on demand transport requests
Work on bulk transport sync to ECC and CRM project systems
Need to keep track of all the work performed.
Create good documentation of the tasks completed or work performed.
May require to tune the systems if the performance issues are encountered.
Support the Dry Run activities for the projects
Support the systems both on premise and cloud
Stopping and starting of the SAP systems as per request both on premise and cloud.
Cutover documentation needs to be kept up to date so that anyone in the team should be able to pick it up if needed.
Provide a weekly status report by EOD Friday for the work completed in that week.
Need to follow the Change Management process if any changes needs to be moved to Production.
Need to attend the meetings related to the projects, scheduled by Project team or Onsite support team.
Go live and post go live (May be few weeks) support may be required.
