Must have Skills
Must possess knowledge of SAP products including Netweaver, ECC, BI, PO, Serialization, BOBJ and Portal. Also should have technical skills and knowledge on HANA, Oracle and database technologies. Working knowledge of Sabrix, Redwood Cronacle and Sybase ASE preferable. Real experience is a must for installing and supporting Netweaver, databases and related technologies. Preferable to have working knowledge on SAP SSO3, Fiori Gateway, TDMS, SAP Archiving, OpenText SAP Document Access, Process Weaver and Content Server.
Responsibilities
1. Own the SAP and related system infrastructure architectural vision and design that underlies business solutions development and continuous improvement. Provide Subject Matter Expertise on SAP related technologies.
2. Collaborate closely with the Infrastructure work stream leads, Enterprise Architecture (EA) team, Enterprise Applications, Enterprise Business Analytics and the Vertical Business Analysts to: 1) Ensure appropriate Enterprise standard guidelines are met, 2) Ensure infrastructure solutions are effectively and efficiently designed per scope requirements and 3) Perform data modeling, configuration, parameterization, use-case analysis, mock-ups and prototypes based on requirements analysis, 4) Perform quality control audits to ensure accuracy, completeness, and proper usage of data. Work with Infrastructure and other Enterprise Architects to execute IT/Infrastructure/Enterprise Architect technology architecture roadmap to ensure seamless delivery of IT solutions.
3. Consult with IT and business on SAP and related technologies, including version management, trends, functionality, security, costs and strategy.
4. Understand current IT infrastructure company strategy and ensure proposed infrastructure solutions are aligned with company infrastructure, and M&A strategy and provide information and advice on relevant emerging technology tools and platforms that may result in improvements to current processes.
5. Address the business problems and opportunities and recommend a technical solution architecture frame that enable the organization to achieve its business goals.
6. Ensure infrastructure solution design effectively integrates with other relevant application sets across Verticals; work with the Enterprise Architect team to ensure realistic and effective integration plan is in place to deploy solutions.
7. Escalation contact for critical incidents and business issues related to Run team. Instructs, guides and oversees support tasks and project work conducted by Run team.
8. Determine requirements for enterprise for both purchased or in-house developed applications. Review and recommend solutions and designs
9. Oversee SAP related projects to ensure the Basis project teams are meeting timelines and to ensure Run team is able to assume responsibility after Go Live
10. Oversee Basis Run team to ensure standards are followed, SLAs are being met and customer satisfaction levels are high.
