Role: SAP Basis Administration

Location: Kalamazoo ,MI

JD:

SAP Basis Administration & Experience :
Should be expert in Support, Implementation and Upgrade SAP New Dimension Products and having a proficiency to work independently.
SAP Net weaver Certification / Migration certification will be an added advantage.
Should have proven experience on Oracle database administration tasks.

Experience: Having 10+ years of experience in SAP Basis Administration including Database Administration. Act as an SME to Runtime and On time SAP Basis deliveries.

Support Process Skills:
Good Understanding of SAP System Landscape and integration between SAP modules.
Should have experience in working in support environment - time bound (SLA based) incident resolutions.
Comprehensive Experience of Impact and gap analysis & Corrective action plans to support priority tickets
Knowledge of Change Control processes, testing and release documentation
Usage of testing and support tools like HPQC ALM, Remedy and SAP Solution Manager – CHARM
Collaborate with team members to find solutions for complex problems and promote continuous improvement on services
Ability to deliver high profile activities to tight timescales
Ability to multi-task and work on a 24/7 support rotation
Capable of taking ownership of tasks from beginning to end

Job description:

Good Understanding of SAP System Landscape and integration between SAP modules.
Supporting SAP Net Weaver ECC, BW/BI, SRM, GRC, Portal and Solution Manager on a mixed database platform, Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle
Should have experience in working in support environment - time bound (SLA based) incident resolutions.
Perform critical routine health check of SAP systems (work processes, users, system logs, short dumps, locks, developer traces, system traces, disk space, etc)/Performance Tuning.
Comprehensive Experience of Impact and gap analysis & Corrective action plans to support priority tickets
Apply Kernel upgrade/DB Patch/Support Packs upgrades through all systems using a structured methodology.
Ability to perform complete System Refresh activities.
Perform SAP client administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client) as required.
Configuring TMS/Maintaining Transport Management system/creating domain controller/releasing change request
Setting up of CCMS monitoring & Early watch report analysis.
Configuration of SAP spool management and troubleshooting.
Should have knowledge on Unix Scripting
Should have experience in DR environment & Failover Test.
Create and maintain RFC connections, background jobs, logon groups, partner profiles, SAP licenses, developer and access keys, OSS IDs, profile parameters and SAP directories.
Configuration of Early Watch Alerts and Technical monitoring in Solution Manager
Knowledge of Change Control processes, testing and release documentation
Collaborate with team members to find solutions for complex problems and promote continuous improvement on services
