Essentials:
Strong experience in SAP Business Objects ( SAP BO 4.1/4.2) with HANA.
Experience creating Business Objects Universes, Version XI R3 , XI R 4.0 /
4.1/4.2 using IDT. Experience with SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence,
Crystal Reports, Dashboard Designer (Xcelsius) and Explorer tools. Also
Analysis for Office and OLAP analysis. Should also have knowledge of SAP
Lumira, Cloud based solutions and Design Studio. Must have hands on
experience to create reports on SAP HANA Models.Experience and advanced
understanding of Relational and Data Warehouse DBMS environment. SQL skills
using RDBMS databases. Experience in understanding of Datawarehouse
systems. Thorough understanding of Business Objects security, scheduling
and distribution strategies Desired Skills/Experience . Technical knowledge
in software development methodologies, design and implementation Excellent
analytical and design skills at multiple product level, excellent skills in
research and analysis, project planning and implementation. Experience
working with users to ensure BO requirements are developed to specification
Ability to analyze source data for potential data quality issues and
recommend a proper course of action Knowledge of BO hardware infrastructure
configuration. Sufficient knowledge to identify and help avoid pitfalls
associated with data warehousing. Experience performing data analysis on
large systems. Experience participating in end user and technical
requirement session. Ability to collaborate with end users to generate ad
hoc reports and effectively communicate information, both verbally and
written, to end users and executive management . Functional Knowledge in
Retail and Sales and Billing related areas for buidling reports Full
knowledge of integrating BO with SAP HANA and developing reports on it.
Well Experienced in working Automation of reports and providing innovative
ideas to improve the current systems
Role:
Create and modify Business Intelligence solutions including Business
Objects XI R4.0/4.1 software using Information Design Tool (IDT), Web
Intelligence, Crystal Reports and DashboardsDevelop and test high
performance Business Objects Universes and Web Intelligence ReportsAnalyze
complex business challenges and data requirements and solve these
requirements by the delivery of effective reporting solutionsProvides
technical expertise in researching, designing, implementing and maintaining
business application solutionsDevelops test scenarios and scripts as an
integral component of the software quality assurance process.Resolves
highly complex issues, conducts advanced research, and recommends
innovations.Works with customers and users to evaluate, estimate and
perform application development and/or business process change requests
under the direction of the appropriate Technical Lead.Uses structured
methodologies throughout design, development, test and reengineering
processes.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Suggest the
various versatile use of reports with different tools like Webi, UDT, IDT,
Analysis Office, Lumira, Dashboards, Live office, Design Studio for end
user reporting as and when required Support Migration process in SAP BO
across landscape as well as from BO 4.x. Coordinate to setup security,
roles and profiles for reports. Also set up process for scheduling and
bursting of reports.Managed post production activities , providing support,
testing, troubleshooting.
