Position: SAP BASIS Lead
Location: Traveling Job (Travel up to 75%)
Base Location can be anywhere in US (be closer to a major airport) and be willing to travel (75 % travel anticipated)

Job Description:
RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide consulting support in Pre-Sales and Delivery
SAP Landscape Architecture design
Solution Architect (Review SAP Projects, Performance assessment, sizing, estimations, provide and review solution, mentoring to support projects etc

DESIRED SKILLS AND
Work Experience
SAP pre-sales experience in technical solutions & estimations
SAP cloud migration/implementation experience
S/4 HANA experience
Comfortable with all BASIS related solutions and has worked as a solution architect
SAP Implementation and Support experience
Oracle/DB2 DBA experience (Architecture, Performance Tuning & Backup + Recovery expert)
Unix experience (AIX, Solaris, HP-UX)
Experience developing and presenting clear and concise technical solutions
SAP OS/DB Migration experience
SAP System Copy
SAP Performance Tuning
SAP Hardware sizing
SAP HA and DR implementation experience
SAP Landscape and Transport Management
HANA Architecture
Sybase ASE Architecture
Create and deliver demonstrations and presentations
Manage the technical relationship with the customer "face" (besides the Business relationship manager) to the customer throughout the sales and delivery process
Respond to the technical sections of RFI/RFP''s as necessary
Document and communicate product feedback and new requirements from the field
Capable of demonstrating, discussing and defending technical solution with customer team
Jump Start deliveries being part of the technical team
Communicate competitive intelligence from the field

Good to have the following:
Linux Operating System knowledge
Minimum 12 years of strong BASIS/Netweaver administration with 10+ years in a consulting role at a system integrator
Has working experience of leading a technical team and has worked in onsite/offshore methodology
Familiarity with GRC module and security related solution
Multiple years of implementation experience on installations, upgrades, migrations
Experience working in highly integrated environments and with multiple SAP / non SAP systems
OTHER REQUIRED SKILLS:
Ability to facilitate workshops and to identify business requirements
Ability to manage and deliver multiple priorities in a constrained timeline
Strong problem solver with the ability to analyze cause and effect relationships
Proactively propose alternate solutions to the customer as and when needed
Showcase ownership to resolve / coordinate issues within SLA
Excellent Oral and written communication skills
CAN DO attitude
Strong organizational and personal skills to successfully communicate with internal and external customers
Self-driven, motivated and results orientated
Strong listening skills and solution orientated approach to selling
