Job Description :
Install and upgrade SAP NetWeaver ABAP & JAVA software & Install databases and apply patches.
Proficiency in Operating systems level commands in both Windows and Linux environments
knowledge of SAP MII installation, migration and Net weaver Administration activities
knowledge of SAP MII integration to SAP ERP systems using Idocs, BAPI's and RFC.
Provides system support including answering user questions, satisfying miscellaneous requests, and conferring with co-workers to determine impact of changes.
Experience with SAP SP upgrades using SUM tool
Performs periodic system copies and build quality and sand box systems.
Follow IT- Service Management (ITIL) guidance for change management, incident management and problem management.
Understand, support and contribute to current Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO) and Environmental, and/or Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by following stated policies and procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross functional teams.
Occasionally work second and third shift and weekends to communicate with local and other entities for system upgrades and maintenance activities.
Advanced PC skills: word processing, spreadsheet, presentation software and Microsoft project.
Experience in Oracle database administration.
Basic Unix Administration commands and shell scripting.
Possible international travel.
Ability to be on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.


EDUCATION REQUIRED:
Bachelor Degree in a computer related field or equivalent work related experience.

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

4+ years of SAP BASIS, Oracle, and UNIX/Windows administration experience.
