ntercompany integration has been deployed at End Client to allow for transactions between SAP and legacy legal entities, as well as SAP order transactions and sources of supply within the legal entity still using legacy systems. This SAP/legacy system integration is enabled using standard SAP iDocs (intermediate documents) with bidirectional interfaces between SAP and US legacy order management systems (broker with US plants on legacy systems); primarily for order create and acknowledgement transactions; secondary for advanced ship notification and invoicing transactions. Given the number of interfaces with legacy systems, End Client intercompany experiences many types of iDoc errors that must be resolved quickly to prevent delayed system communication and possible service issues.

The primary responsibility of this candidate is to provide monitoring and issue resolution support for iDoc errors encountered in the data transferred between legacy systems and SAP. These types of errors impact intercompany sales orders and stock transport orders. Candidate would also be responsible for maintaining standard operating procedures (SOP), providing training in support of cross-process understanding and maintaining metrics.
Secondary responsibility is providing support for the waves of SAP deployment for US intercompany operations. This includes analysis, cleansing and reporting activities in support of master and transactional data readiness. Would also include SOP documentation and metrics creation for intercompany-related processes.

Other expectations include:
Work with multiple process teams to perform root cause analysis on iDoc errors
Manage defects for identified iDoc errors and related issues
Identify short-term mitigation practices/processes and provide feedback on future continuous improvement opportunities
Refine existing SOP’s, training materials and supplemental documentation

The candidate must have the following qualifications:
Good to expert knowledge of SAP iDoc management
Working knowledge of standard SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) processes. Most notably for MM – Procurement and Master Data modules. Would expect the candidate to have a general understanding of sales order, purchase order, delivery and invoice related transactions in SAP.
Good working knowledge of the interrelationships inherent with SAP master and transactional data; experience with SAP data analysis
Experience working on at least one SAP deployment with iDoc or interface related responsibilities
Experience providing post go-live stabilization/hypercare support and/or ongoing operational support. This includes monitoring and resolving issues.
Experience working across multiple SAP process teams; including Forecast to Schedule, Order to Cash, Logistics Execution and Record to Report
Ability to work independently without minimal work direction and still deliver consistent results
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Preferred qualifications include:
Good working knowledge of standard SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) and Materials Management (MM) processes. Most notably for MM – Procurement and Master Data modules. Preferred expectation is the candidate would be able to manage sales order, purchase order, delivery and invoice related transactions in SAP.
Expert working knowledge of the interrelationships inherent with SAP master and transactional data
Experience with SAP data analysis, pre-go live data readiness activities and ongoing data maintenance
Experience leading activities that cross multiple SAP process teams; including Order to Cash, Logistics Execution and Record to Report
Experience creating SAP process documentation (not technical)
Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Minimal work direction needed, highly skilled and knowledgeable to the position and provides best practicing sharing within work group. Responsible for solidification of the approach, processes and tools to build and sustain the SAP Global Design; provide SAP expertise through all phases of the solution development lifecycle, from establishing vision & scope, to planning, to full implementation; Collaborate with Business and IT partners to identify, design and implement solutions; define business needs or create new business opportunities and implement Best Practice solutions that meet business objectives; identify and analyze internal client and partner business needs, translate needs into business requirements and identify value-added solutions; develop the business case for adoption design, configure, test and sustain solutions.
