Job Description :
Role – SAP APO/PP Functional Consultant
Location : Alpharetta, Atlanta, GA
Needs ability to understand complex business processes which interface between SAP and APO via Core Interface. With APO, needs to good understanding of PPDS, SNP and DP.
Key Skills -
Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO) (Mandatory and should be expert)
o Production Planning and Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)
o Demand Planning (DP)
o Supply Network Planning
PP (Should have)
o S& OP
o Demand Management
o MRP (ATP)
o Capacity Planning
o All integration aspects of above with APO via CIF.
ALE
o Connection Establishment and Monitor
o (RFC connection, partner set up, Logical system definition etc)
o Allows the agreed IDOC types to flow through Connection like MATMAS, BOMMAT, BOMDOC, DOCMAS, CHRMAS, CLFMAS, CLSMAS, ECMMAS, ECMREV
Provides Technical support for ALE
o Builds serialization group to process IDOCs in sequence.
o Builds mapping tables, for IDOC value conversions.
o Builds custom programs/ exits to automate processing.
o Troubleshoot for Technical issues/challenges
o Reprocess IDOCs
o Build new segments in IDOCs etc
General SAP Understanding
o Good understanding of enterprise structure
o Critical master data like material master, BOMs etc
o Awareness on SAP authorization concept
o Understanding of ABAP concepts and interface concepts like RFC, IDOCs etc.
Exposure Costing
Multi-tasking abilities
Strong requirements gathering and scope management skills
Ability to translate SAP requirements into SAP technical design efficiently
Ability to coordinate and work in an onsite-offshore environment.
To be the business process & SAP best practice champion.
Ensure seamless and smooth integration between the various processes in scope
Ensure new processes fit appropriately aligning with Siemens and SAP standard processes
Enable Solution approach to prevent potential technical/integration conflicts
Propose suitable alternate options and facilitating the final decision
