SAP Demand Planning Consultant (APO-DP)

Our client, a global chemical company, is seeking a SAP Demand Planning (APO-DP) consultant. This role will be required to rapidly support initiatives to implement statistical forecasting. Demand Planning skills to be broad enough to bridge any gap and support new requirements in front of the customer. Will work closely with business units who need assistance with statistical forecasting and then determine how APO would be set up. Will also be tasked with working with offshore team for large project implementations, but would be responsible for handling smaller projects themselves.
Goals
Forecast profiles, ABC-XYZ analysis, APO forecasting model behaviors, forecast error analysis, life cycle planning, seasonal planning; leading indicator
Phase 2: Drive an efficiency enhancement by changing the planning area time basis from weekly to monthly.
