Job Description :
A technical release environment management role to assist the client in a deployment
of cloud based application across multiple environments.
Role background:
The application captures, archives, and monitors emails, IMs, etc. and the role will require an individual to configure, integrate, manage, and support multiple legacy and strategic systems to perform the following: Contribute to architectural design and build decisions around application components interfacing with a large number of other applications within and outside the firm
Diagnose and identify gaps/weaknesses in existing solutions design and lead the remediation of these gaps
Work with developers to improve the stability of applications in the production environment.
Implement and standardize activities to improve process efficiency and processing times
Collaborate with internal and external teams on on-boarding the applications to the standard tools for change management, source control, access management, and application monitoring
Preferred skills / experience include the following:System administration
Experience in tier 3 production support
Experience in SQL Database administration
Experience in technologies are a plus:
MS Exchange Server, Proof Point, SendMail, Voltage Securemail
Batch, data-intensive processing and transfer including controls for ensuring the completeness of transferred data
Source control tools, preferably Subversion
Application security protocols and technologies (e.g. SSL & SSO)
Secure file transfer protocol (sftp)
Control-M or Autosys
Operating systems - Unix and Windows server
Elastic Search
