Ruby on Rails Technical Lead

JOB DESCRIPTION
responsible for building Ruby applications, including anything from complex groups of back-end microservices to command line utilities and data processing scripts. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Thus, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and building quality products is essential
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, MIS or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of hands on Ruby software development experience, full life cycle implementation experience using various SDLC methodologies.
Experience and full lifecycle software using Agile methodologies.
Experience with multiple source control systems: Jazz, RTC, SVN, Git.
Ability to define, create, and complete a technical task without guidance.
Ability to unit test all work and deliver an error-free technology component to the team.
Ability to articulate a vision of the total solution.
Ability to anticipate issues and appropriately manage risk.
Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
Experience in a consulting environment.
Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting.
Experience in multiple web technologies including: XML, JSON, HTML, XHTML, XML, CSS, AJAX / JavaScript, Web Services/SOAP, SQL.
