Our client, an online marketplace and hospitality service, enabling people to lease or rent short-term lodging including vacation rentals, apartment rentals, homestays, hostel beds, or hotel rooms, seeks an accomplished Ruby on Rails Developer.

Description:
Collaborate with other teams and departments as needed to iterate on the design and implementation of the application.
Work with Infra Systems Engineers and Frontend Developers to ensure that the web application is stable, reliable, and responsive by applying infrastructure-as-code and continuous deployment best practices.
Write efficient and maintainable backend API and integration code.
Complete key deliverables for intermediate milestones and final deployment as described in the project timeline.
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or similar technical or scientific discipline preferred.
Expert knowledge of Ruby on Rails, as well as general Ruby scripting.
Expert knowledge of the design and implementation of RESTful APIs.
Extensive experience with git/GitHub workflow, and collaborating on projects with multiple contributors in a CI/CD environment.
Demonstrated success in similar fixed-term web development projects.
Basic familiarity with ReactJS.
Basic familiarity with HTML and CSS.
Experience with Terraform, Chef, Jenkins, or other continuous deployment tools a plus.
