Job Description :
Responsible for the accurate and timely analysis of divisional financial
statements and their comparison to budget and estimates. May also handle
monthly performance reporting, forecasting requirements and special
projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Assist in the development of the annual operating budget, quarterly
estimates and monthly performance reports for the division.
Coordinate the completion of the annual capital budget and adhere to the
corporate reporting requirements.
Perform monthly evaluations of expense spending and balance sheet
transactions while providing support to operating management in controlling
period cost and the balance sheet.
Develop and implement procedures to ascertain accuracy within the general
ledger and financial accounting systems and their compliance to corporate
guidelines.
Complete special financial analysis projects as required.
Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
Experience/Skills :
Maintain and oversee the operations of planning process for Rig Systems &
Aftermarket within Hyperion Planning
Support the segments by developing additional functionality and enhancements within the Hyperion financial systems.
Assist in user training and functionality guidelines
Build, maintain and run company standard reports in Hyperion Financial
Reporting Studio
3-5 years of Accounting or Finance experience or equivalent combination of education and Experience
Willingness to travel
Demonstrated initiative, analytical & problem solving skills
Dependable, Efficient, and a Team player
Strong focus on continuous improvement
Experience with HFM and Smart View.
Exposure to Hyperion Planning and Essbase preferred.
Intermediate to Advanced Excel Skills
Education: Bachelor''s Degree in Accounting/Finance (Required)
