Role: Sales Forecast Analyst
Location- Ridgefield, CT
Contract

About the Role
Functional support for demand sales forecasting operations for established and launch brands in a pharmaceutical organization
Partner with forecasting and Finance teams to evaluate current forecasting methods and use domain expertise to recommend improvements to evolve forecasting into a more sophisticated and transparent process within Commercial Operations. Adapt forecasting support to meet the different needs of a diverse product portfolio
Develop and maintain best in class, standard forecasting methods, processes
Interpret and explain forecasting results and business impact to Forecasting teams and commercial leadership
Provide knowledge support to team for forecasting platform migrations such as from SPSS to R
Build strong relationships with stakeholders built on trust, transparency and communication
Be able to quickly learn and work with sales and promotional data, market assessment, pipeline analysis and market research to perform various analyses
Work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goal, both internally and externally
Manage projects and workstreams independently

Requisite Skills

5+ years of experience in Forecasting and/or Finance, in pharmaceutical space
Good understanding of pharmaceutical forecasting and performance management based on sales and competitor data
Strong analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities
Functional knowledge on statistical modeling, regression analysis, and forecasting tools
Experience implementing differentiated forecasting methodologies at channel, account, nation and sub national levels into standard practice
Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate cross-functionally and gain alignment, ability to work with various levels of management
Effective project management, and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, leading meetings, business and report-writing
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-working skills

Good to Have
Hands on experience with statistical platforms such as SAS, SPSS, R
Hands on experience in doing statistical modeling, regression analysis, and building forecasting tools
Experience with implementing various forecasting methodologies such as Patient based models, Market models, Bottoms up Payer models, and TRx based methodologies
Experience in data visualization, data analysis and presentation tools - Tableau, and Excel VBA
Exposure to Big data tools and technologies. Ability to pick up new analytics skill sets and technologies
Aware about recent developments in pharma space, emerging data and analytics solutions
