Job Description
Procurement Analyst will work on behalf of IT Department to input and monitor thru approval: contract agreements and purchase requisitions for goods and services, one-time and recurring purchases.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Monitor ServiceDesk system for tickets requesting assistance from IT Procurement, assigning the tickets in the queue, and fulfilling them – in coordination with Onsite IT Procurement Process Expert.
Review requests from IT Management and IT Leads sent to IT Procurement to process contract agreements, requisitions to purchase goods for completeness. If acceptable, input and monitor thru approval and PO creation.
Coordinate tightly with main Procurement and Finance (A/P) departments to follow processes including accurate categorization of purchase request, including verification budget sources.
Work under tight coordination of onsite IT Procurement Specialist, especially where goods are physically received from Shipping & Receiving.
Requests will be for IT goods for new users (laptops, etc) but also other IT equipment (switches, routers, networking equipment) so knowledge of IT hardware is helpful.
Key Requirements
Qualified IT Procurement Analyst will possess:
Excellent command of English
Knowledge of and 2+ years experience with Procurement, Accounts Payable and Contracting systems principles and processes.
Detail oriented, ability to multitask with strong prioritization, planning and organization skills
Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience with technical writing including User/Functional Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience working in Procurement related position.
Ideal candidate has Bachelor of Science degree in relevant field.
