Role: Marketing Analyst – Pharmaceutical Marketing Analytics
Location- Ridgefield, CT

About the Role
Create quantitative or qualitative analysis to support business decisions for marketing strategy and commercial organization
Support marketing media planning process, marketing strategy and budget allocation through statistical analysis
Analyze marketing channel performance and uncover opportunities to improve customer acquisition efficiency, measure the performance of marketing campaigns
Carry out customer path analysis and predictive modeling to understand customer segmentation and lifetime value Present analyses and point of views at client meetings, independently or with team support
Analyze secondary data and support market research to identify key findings and trends
Be able to quickly learn and work with sales and promotional data, market assessment, pipeline analysis and market research to perform various analyses
Work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goal, both internally and externally
Manage projects and workstreams independently

Requisite Skills

Experience working with multi-touch, multi channel marketing campaigns
Strong technical skills in SAS and preferably in any of the following: Oracle SQL, R Programming
Strong knowledge in MS Excel, MS Access, and MS PowerPoint
Healthcare data experience - knowledge of physician, patient, claims, and epidemiology data such as IMS data
Strong understanding of targeting, segmentation, touchpoints, channels, customer acquisition and conversion metrics
Familiarity with or experience building analyses such as channel affinity, promotional response modeling, scenario building, campaign optimization
Understanding of fundamental processes of pharmaceutical commercial business, various interactions, and impact of external/internal influences on decision making, growth and decline
Ability to think creatively and strategically. Demonstrate analytical, interpretative and problem-solving skills, working with large and multiple data sets
Effective project management, and time management skills, ability to prioritize tasks
Well-developed written and verbal communication skills including presentations, leading meetings, business and report-writing
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team-working skills

Good to Have
Exposure to Big data tools and technologies. Ability to pick up new analytics skill sets and technologies
Experience in data visualization, data analysis and presentation tools - Tableau, and Excel VBA
Aware about recent developments in pharma space, emerging data and analytics solutions
